Luncheon with Japanese business people in France

On June 23th, commencing at 1:30 p.m. (local time; June 23th, 8:30 p.m. JST) for approximately 80 minutes, Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, who is visiting Paris to attend the “Summit for a New Global Financing Pact”, held a luncheon meeting with Japanese business representatives in France. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- At the outset, Minister Hayashi stated that he was pleased to exchange views with Japanese business representatives who work actively in France on the occasion of his visit to France, and expressed his hope to strengthen the economic relationship between Japan and France as well as Europe inspired by this opportunity of exchange of views. .
- On the following discussion with the Japanese business representatives who attended the luncheon, Minister Hayashi exchanged views with them on a wide range of areas, such as the business environment of Japanese companies in France and future challenges for further strengthening bilateral economic relations.
