Courtesy call on Chief Cabinet Secretary HAYASHI Yoshimasa by the Club Franco-Japonais

On November 22nd, from 4:35 p.m. for about 20 minutes, Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Chief Cabinet Secretary, received a courtesy call by Mr. Jacques ASCHENBROICH, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orange (French Co-Chairman of the Club Franco-Japonais), Mr. FURUTA Hidenori, Non-Executive Chairman, Member of the Board of Directors, FUJITSU. (Japanese Co-Chairman of the Club Franco-Japonais), and other members of the Club. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- At the outset, Mr. Furuta and Mr. Aschenbroich handed a press release of the 33rd Meeting of the Club Franco-Japonais to Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi, on behalf of the Club.
- Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi expressed his pleasure that the Club Franco-Japonais, which represents the Japanese and French business communities, held its general meeting in Tokyo and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all those involved. He also expressed his hope that Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will give further impetus to exchanges between Japan and France.
- In response, the Chairpersons of the Club Franco-Japonais presented the fruitful exchange of views on themes such as new technologies, geopolitics and macroeconomics, as well as culture and sports as the meeting. They also reaffirmed that Japanese and French companies will continue to cooperate closely with each other, taking advantage of the opportunities of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
