State Minister Tsuji and Nordic Ambassadors who exchange views in a luncheon

On 28 November, Mr. TSUJI Kiyoto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, participated in a luncheon with Nordic Ambassadors to Japan hosted by H.E. Ms. Tanja Katriina JÄÄSKELÄINEN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Japan, at the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Tokyo. The overview is as follows.

  1. At the outset, State Minister Tsuji mentioned his visit to Ukraine last week, and stated that strengthening relations with the Nordic countries is extremely important for Japan, and that he would like to further develop relations with the Nordic countries in a wide range of fields.
  2. State Minister Tsuji and the Nordic Ambassadors to Japan also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and East Asia. They also concurred to continue close communication to deepen the Japan-NATO and the Japan-EU cooperation.
