Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Ikuina’s attendance at the Farewell Reception for Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Japan, H.E. Mr. Paweł MILEWSKI

On September 25, Ms. IKUINA Akiko, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the farewell reception for Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Japan, Mr. Paweł Milewski and delivered a speech as a representative of the government of Japan.
- In her remarks, Parliamentary Vice-Minister IKUINA expressed her gratitude to Ambassador MILEWSKI for his tremendous efforts in strengthening relations between Japan and Poland over the approximately seven years since his arrival in 2019.
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister also mentioned the elevation of the bilateral relationship to “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” during the Prime Minister TUSK’s visit to Japan in April this year and welcomed recent development of the bilateral relationship between Japan and Poland in various fields. She also emphasized intention to deepen bilateral cooperation with Poland including in support to Ukraine and its recovery.
