On November 14, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the Reception of Independence Day and Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Poland and delivered a speech as a representative of the Government of Japan. The overview is as follows:

  1. State Minister KUNIMITSU expressed her congratulation for holding the reception on the occasion of 107th anniversary of the Independence of Poland, and pointed out that Japan and Poland have been developing the traditional friendship in various areas like politics,security, economy, education and culture.
  2. State Minister KUNIMITSU underlined the importance of Poland in the context of support for Ukraine, expressing her gratitude for the attendance of a delegation from Poland at the Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC) 2025 held in October in Tokyo, and emphasized that she would be committed to strengthening the bilateral relations.
