Courtesy Call on Mr. OUE, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister by H.E. Ms. SIGMUND, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Japan

On January 31, commencing at 10:30 a.m. for approximately 45 minutes, Mr. OUE Sadamasa, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, received a courtesy call by H.E. Ms. Petra SIGMUND, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Japan. The overview is as follows:
- At the outset, Special Advisor OUE stated that Japan and the Federal Republic of Germany are premium partners that share basic values and principles and welcomed the close cooperation to date, expressing his desire to further strengthen the relationship.
- Recognizing that the security of the Euro-Atlantic and the Indo-Pacific is inseparable, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of security and economic security. They also discussed the international situation and concurred to continue exchanging views and strengthening coordination between the two countries.
