Courtesy Call on Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary NAKANISHI by Ms. Robertson, Ambassador Designate of the United Kingdom to Japan

On September 28, from 2:30 p.m. for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. NAKANISHI Yusuke, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary, received a courtesy call from Ms. Corin ROBERTSON CMG, Ambassador-Designate of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Japan.
- Both sides welcomed the strengthening of the Japan-UK relationship, including at the summit and ministerial levels, and the steady progress in cooperation across a wide range of fields, including security, economy and economic security, and advanced technology.
- They also concurred to continue working together in the fields of security, including through the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), economy, economic security, and advanced technology, to elevate the cooperation between Japan and the UK, "Enhanced Global Strategic Partners" to new heights.
