On September 3, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Mukhsinkhuja ABDURAKHMONOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the outset, Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI expressed her congratulations on the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence Day on September 1 and, mentioning her visit to Uzbekistan in May, stated her hope to further develop relations between the two countries.
- In response, Ambassador Abdurakhmonov made reference to the ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
- Both sides concurred to strengthen further cooperation in various fields, including policies, economy, and culture.
