Dinner with Parliamentary Vice Minister FUKAZAWA and H.E. Mr. Mukhsinkhuja ABDURAKHMONOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan

On March 18, Mr. FUKAZAWA Yoichi, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended a dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Mukhsinkhuja ABDURAKHMONOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- Parliamentary Vice Minister Fukazawa welcomed the Ambassador's activity throughout Japan, including Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, an area hit by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and thanked for his efforts during the visit of H.E. Mr. Bakhtiyor SAIDOV, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to Japan this month.
- Ambassador Abdurakhmonov expressed that he expects further expansion of Japanese companies into Uzbekistan and would like to cooperate with Japan in human resource development.
- Both sides stated that based on the discussions at the Japan-Uzbekistan Foreign Ministers' Meeting (Working Dinner) held on March 8, they would cooperate and prepare for the Summit of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue.
