On March 25, Ms. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Atadurdy BAYRAMOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:

  1. At the outset, State Minister Kunimitsu expressed her willingness to cooperate with Ambassador Bayramov in following up the outcomes of the visit of the H.E. Mr. Serdar BERDIMUHAMEDOV, President of Turkmenistan, for the Summit of the “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue (CA+JAD) in Deceber last year with a view to further developing bilateral relations.
  2. In response, Ambassador Bayramov extended his congratulations on Ms. Kunimitsu’s reappointment, and made remarks regarding efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations.
  3. The two sides also affirmed their intention to continue close cooperation in the international arena and confirmed that would continue to work closely together in various fields.
