On November 25, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Atadurdy BAYRAMOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows;

  1. At the outset, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri stated that Japan and Turkmenistan are mutually beneficial partner based on friendship and mutual trust. She expressed her intention to work closely with Ambassador Bayramov toward further deepening of bilateral relations. She welcomed the successful visit of President Berdimuhamedov to Japan in April of this year and the success of Turkmenistan pavilion.
  2. In response, Ambassador Bayramov extended his congratulations on Ms. Eri’s reappointment and made remarks regarding efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations.
  3. The two sides also affirmed their intention to cooperate closely in the international arena and confirmed that they would continue to work together toward the early convening of the Summit of the “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue.
