Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU Ayano by H.E. Mr. Yerlan BAUDARBEK-KOZHATAYEV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On March 27, Ms. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Yerlan BAUDARBEK-KOZHATAYEV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the outset, State Minister Kunimitsu stated that she looks forward to working closely with Ambassador Baudarbek-Kozhatayev to further develop bilateral relations, including on cooperation in the fields of the economy and energy.
- In response, Ambassador Baudarbek-Kozhatayev referred to various efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, including various cooperation programs.
- The two sides also affirmed their intention to continue close cooperation in the international arena and confirmed that they would continue to work closely together in light of the last year’s Summit of “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue (CA+JAD) and President Tokayev’s visit to Japan.
