Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI by H.E. Mr. Teimuraz LEZHAVA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan

On November 18, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Teimuraz LEZHAVA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the outset, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri expressed her pleasure that Japan and Georgia have long fostered people-to-people exchanges across a wide range of fields, including politics, economy and culture, thereby strengthening the friendly relationship between the two countries.
- Ambassador Lezhava congratulated on Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri’s reappointment and expressed his gratitude for Japan's cooperation thus far. He also explained the recent situation in Georgia.
- The two sides also discussed regional affairs and cooperation in the international arena and concurred on continuing to cooperate in various fields, including economy and people-to-people exchanges.
