On November 18, Ms. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Teimuraz LEZHAVA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:

  1. At the outset, State Minister Kunimitsu stated that she was pleased that Japan and Georgia have long fostered people-to-people exchanges across a wide range of fields, including politics, economy, and culture, thereby strengthening the friendly relationship between the two countries.
  2. Ambassador Lezhava expressed congratulated on State Minister Kunimitsu's appointment and explained his efforts to strengthen bilateral economic ties .
  3. The two sides concurred on continuing to cooperate in various fields, including culture and people-to-people exchanges.
