Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs FUJII by H.E. Mr. Teimuraz LEZHAVA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan

On May 1, Mr. FUJII Hisayuki, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Teimuraz LEZHAVA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- State Minister Fujii touched upon the long history of friendship between Japan and Georgia and expressed his respect to Ambassador Lezhava for his efforts in raising awareness of Georgia in Japan through social media and other means.
- Ambassador Lezhava conveyed his gratitude for Japan's cooperation and support, expressed the measures and willingness for the further development of people-to-people exchanges and economic relations between the two countries, and explained the current situation in Georgia.
- Both sides also held an exchange of views on cooperation in the international arena, and shared the view that they would continue to exchange views and communicate in various fields.
