Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU by H.E. Mr. Farid TALIBOV, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan

On March 31, Ms. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Farid TALIBOV, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the outset, State Minister KUMINITSU extended congratulations to Ambassador Talibov on his assumption to his post and expressed her expectations for the further development relations between Japan and Azerbaijan.
- Ambassador Talibov extended his greetings upon assignment and expressed his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, including economy and people-to-people exchanges.
- In addition, they exchanged views on the international situation. State Minister Kunimitsu expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support in the evacuation of Japanese nationals from Iran to Azerbaijan.
