Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI by H.E. Mr. Farid TALIBOV, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan

On March 18, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Farid TALIBOV, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan. The overview is as follows:
- At the outset, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri extended congratulations to Ambassador Talibov on his assumption to his post and expressed her expectations for further promotion of economic ties between Japan and Azerbaijan, cooperation in the field of decarbonization through the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM), and the strengthening of people-to-people exchanges through the utilization of invitation programs.
- Ambassador Talibov extended his greetings upon assuming his post, and expressed his willingness to further strengthen relations between Japan and Azerbaijan in a wide range of areas.
- In addition, the two sides exchanged views on the international situation. Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its assistance in the evacuation of Japanese nationals from Iran to Azerbaijan.
