Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI by H.E. Mr. Gursel ISMAYILZADA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan

On October 29, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Gursel ISMAYILZADA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan, who is soon to leave his post. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the beginning, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri expressed gratitude to Ambassador Ismayilzada for his longstanding contributions to deepening bilateral relations, as he concludes his second tenure as Ambassador to Japan.
- Ambassador Ismayilzada expressed congratulations on Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri on her second appointment and mentioned the exchanges between Japan and Azerbaijan over the years and his own activities in Japan. He also expressed his intention to continue to support strengthening of Japan-Azerbaijan relations in various ways even after leaving his post.
- They discussed about the regional situation and expressed their hopes for further developing bilateral relations.
