On June 3, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended at the Reception on the Occasions of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Day at EXPO 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan and made a speech on behalf of the Government of Japan. The overview is as follows:
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri expressed her congratulations on the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 28 and stated that Japan and Azerbaijan have developed friendly relations in a wide range of fields since establishing diplomatic relations in 1992.
- Parliamentary Vice Minister Eri also mentioned Azerbaijan's National Day at the National Day at EXPO 2025, Osaka, Kansai on 5 June and the pavilion of Azerbaijan, expressing her hope that the National Day events would be a great success and that it will be an opportunity to promote further stronger friendship between the two countries.
