State Minister Tsuji and Ambassador Ismayilzada who exchange opinions after having a seat

On December 12, Mr. TSUJI Kiyoto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Gursel ISMAYILZADA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:

  1. State Minister Tsuji emphasized that the Central Asia and Caucasus region has become increasingly strategically important in recent years. He also expressed willingness to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
  2. Ambassador Ismayilzada congratulated State Minister Tsuji on his appointment and expressed his expectation to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the environmental field.
  3. They discussed regional affairs, economic activities between the two countries, including tourism, and cooperation in the international arena.
