State Minister for Foreign Affairs NAKASONE’s attendance at “The Independence Day of Armenia Reception”

On September 28, Mr. NAKASONE Yasutaka, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended "The Independence Day of Armenia Reception" held in Tokyo and hosted by the Embassy of Armenia in Japan, where he delivered remarks on behalf of the Government of Japan. The overview is as follows:
- State Minister Nakasone extended his congratulations on Armenia’s Independence Day. He also stated that Japan and Armenia are important partners working together to maintain and strengthen a free and open international order based on the rule of law, and that the two countries have steadily built friendly relations over more than 30 years through exchanges in a wide range of fields since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992.
- State Minister Nakasone also expressed his respect for the efforts of all those involved in strengthening the bilateral relations and stated that, looking ahead to the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027, he hopes for further development of bilateral relations between Japan and Armenia.
