Main events during Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio’s visit to Ukraine on March 21 (except the Japan-Ukraine Summit Meeting) are as follows.

1. Visit to Bucha

From 2:00 p.m. local time (9:00 p.m. Japan time) for about 40 minutes , Prime Minister Kishida visited Bucha City on the outskirts of Kyiv, offered flowers to the victims, and listened directly to the people who had experienced the atrocities caused by the Russia’s outrageous acts, as well as about the state of recovery afterwards. Prime Minister Kishida also inspected the power generators provided to the city by the Government of Japan as winterization assistance.

2. Offering flowers to the victims at a memorial for the war dead

For about 10 minutes from 3:20 p.m. local time (10:20 p.m. Japan time) , Prime Minister Kishida offered flowers to the victims of the Russian aggression at a memorial for the war dead in the city of Kyiv.
