State Minister for Foreign Affairs Yamada’s attendance at the Introduction of the 2022 Edition of the Short Guide on Serbia - Japan Relations on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Serbia


On February 15, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Kenji Yamada attended on behalf of the Government of Japan the reception held in Tokyo to celebrate the National Day of the Republic of Serbia and to commemorate the release of "Short Guide on Serbia - Japan Relations 2022 Revised Edition".
In his remarks, State Minister Yamada noted that last year marked the 140th anniversary of the first exchange of letters between the Emperor Meiji and the King Obrenović of Serbia in 1882 and paid respect to all those involved in the publication of this "Short Guide", which describes the 140 years of friendly relations between Japan and Serbia. He also stated that he would like to continue to make efforts to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, looking to the next 140 years.
