Japan-Poland Relations
Courtesy Call on Prime Minister Kishida by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Prof. Zbigniew RAU

On May 11th, commencing at around 6:05 p.m., for approximately 15 minutes, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Prof. Zbigniew RAU, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. An overview of the meeting is as follows.
- At the beginnig, Prime Minister Kishida welcomed his welcome to Foreign Minister Rau's first visit to Japan and expressed his appreciation for the hospitality shown during Prime Minister Kishida's visit to Poland in March.
- Prime Minister Kishida also expressed his pleasure at the development of bilateral relations in various fields based on the Japan-Poland Strategic Partnership. He also expressed his respect to Poland, which is on the frontline as a base of support for Ukraine.
- Foreign Minister Rau stated that he would like to strengthen relations with Japan as a strategic partner sharing values, and to work together on the response to Russia's aggression against Ukraine, and commended Japan's leadership as the G7 chair .
