Japan-Croatia Relations
Meeting between Mr. FUJII Hisayuki, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and Dr. Gordan Grlić Radman, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia

On July 20, commencing at 1:30 p.m. for approximately 40 minutes, Mr. FUJII Hisayuki, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Gordan Grlić Radman, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, who was visiting Japan to visit Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The overview is as follows.
- Referring to the Japan-Croatia Air Agreement, which came into effect this March, State Minister Fujii expressed his desire to strengthen economic exchanges in various fields, including tourism and trade.
- Minister Grlić Radman stated that Japan is an important partner in the Indo-Pacific region and expressed his intention to strengthen Japan-Croatia relations through Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
- Both parties also exchanged views on bilateral relations, as well as international affairs, and confirmed the two countries will continue to cooperate with each other.
