Japan-Greece Relations

On January 30th, commencing at 6:00 p.m. for approximately 40 minutes, Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, had a meeting with Mrs. Mareva GRABOWSKI-MITSOTAKIS, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, who is visiting Japan.

1. Mrs. Kishida welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister Mitsotakis and Mrs. Grabowski-Mitsotakis to Japan and expressed her hope that their visit will provide a great opportunity to deepen the friendship between the two countries. Mrs. Grabowski-Mitsotakis, touching upon the charms of traditional culture of Japan and Greece, welcomed the future enhancement of the friendly relations between both countries.
2. They also exchanged views, in a friendly atmosphere, on arts and cultural exchanges, as well as the empowerment of women in society.
