Japan-Germany Relations

On April 6, commencing at 12:40 p.m. local time, Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a brief Foreign Ministers’ Meeting with H.E. Mr. Heiko Maas, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, during his visit to Dinard, French Republic to attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Minister Kono and Federal Minister Maas held an exchange of views regarding concrete cooperation to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” as well as cooperation for peace and stability in Africa.
