The Second Joint Committee on Cooperation between Japan and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of Science and Technology

- The Second Joint Committee on Cooperation between Japan and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of Science and Technology was held on 13 December 2017 in Tokyo.
- This Committee was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Takeshi Nakane, Ambassador for Science and Technology Cooperation from the Japanese side, and Prof. Kostadin Kostadinov, Advisor to the Minister of Education and Science from the Bulgarian side. This Committee was attended by officials and members from relevant ministries and institutions of both countries including Cabinet Office (CAO), Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Bulgaria’s Ministry of Education and Science, Bulgarian Academy of Science, Bulgarian universities and Embassy of Bulgaria in Japan.
- Both sides explained their current policies in science, technology and innovation, and exchanged their views on ICT, nano science and new materials, as well as biomedicine and quality of life.
