  1. On April 13, the Government of Japan and the Government of the United States of America exchanged letters relating to the term of protection for copyright at Washington, D.C.
  2. Both governments had exchanged letters relating to the term of protection for copyright including any adjustment portion pursuant to the relevant treaty upon the signing of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement. This time, both governments exchanged letters to confirm their understandings described in the previous letters.
