On June 17, commencing at 11:55 a.m. (local time. 2:55 a.m. on June 18, Japan time. ) for approximately 15 minutes, Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, attended the G7 Kananaskis Summit Session 6 “Closing Session”.

In this session, the Right Honourable Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, this year’s G7 Presidency, gave a summary of the outcomes of this Summit. H.E. Mr. Emannuel Macron, President of the French Republic, as next year’s G7 Presidency, announced that next G7 Summit will be held in Evian, France, from June 14 to 16, 2026.
