1. Official Welcome hosted by Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Carney and Mrs. Carney

On June 16th, Mrs. ISHIBA Yoshiko, the Spouse of Prime Minister ISHIBA Shigeru, attended the Official Welcome of G7 Leaders at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge together with Prime Minister ISHIBA Shigeru, where she was welcomed by Prime Minister Mr. Mark Carney and Mrs. Diana Carney.

2. The Official Spousal Program hosted by Mrs. Carney (The first day)

Mrs. ISHIBA participated in the Official Spousal Program at the G7 Kananaskis Summit.
Joining the trekking on the “Troll Falls Trail” near Mount Nakiska in the Kananaskis in the morning, Mrs. ISHIBA listened to the explanation of the efforts to coexist with wild animals by training dogs to keep wild bears away from human settlements. While listening to the stories of the people involved, she hiked 3.5 km of trails in the rich natural environment of Province of Alberta.
The group of the spouses then moved on to Canmore, where they were introduced to the handicrafts of Canada's indigenous people through upcycled basket weaving using natural and recycled materials. In Canmore, Mrs. ISHIBA took a walk around Lake Quarry with other Spouses and got a glimpse of the daily lives of Canadians resting on the lake.
Mrs. ISHIBA also attended a luncheon and dinner hosted by Mrs. Carney, where she exchanged views with other Spouses in attendance and have deepen their friendship.

3. Cultural event hosted by Prime Minister Mr. Carney and Mrs. Carney

Mrs. ISHIBA, together with Prime Minister ISHIBA, attended a cultural event hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Carney at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, where she interacted with participants around a bonfire.
