On April 14, Dr. NAKAMURA Kimitake, Ambassador, Director-General of the Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science Department, received a courtesy call from Ms. Karina ANGUELIEVA, Executive Director of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC).
- During the courtesy call, Ms. Anguelieva explained the activities of the ISTC, which for more than 30 years since its establishment in 1994 has been one of the largest supporters of research and development and science and technology non-proliferation projects in the region of the former Soviet Union, supporting science and technology projects for peaceful purposes. She also exchanged views on the challenges for the future of the ISTC.
- Ms. Anguelieva reported on the ISTC's participation in the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 and exchanged views on the arrangements for the ISTC Special Day scheduled for August 27.
