Japan-United States of America Relations

On April 27, commencing at 3:30 p.m. local time (4:30 a.m. on April 28, Japan time) for approximately 40 minutes, Mr. IWAYA Takeshi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, during his visit to New York, the United States, had an exchange of views with business representatives of Japanese companies. During the meeting, Minister Iwaya exchanged views on the current situation of Japanese companies and the challenges that Japanese companies face including the series of U.S. tariff measures , among others.
