Study Tour to Kanagawa Prefecture by the Diplomatic Corps in Japan

  1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour with Kanagawa Prefecture for the Diplomatic Corps in Japan from February 21 to 22.
  2. This Study Tour will be held as a part of a "Regional Promotion Seminar" organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional attractions such as cultures and industries for diplomats in Japan.
  3. During this Study Tour, the participants are scheduled to deepen their understanding of Kanagawa Prefecture through visits to facilities concerning the natural environment, history and culture, and by exchanging opinions with the people concerned at those facilities.
  4. Expected Participants: 10 diplomats from 8 countries — Bahrain, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Tonga, the Marshall Islands, Zambia, Kenya and Ecuador.
