The Japan-Myanmar Human Rights Dialogue

  1. The Japan-Myanmar Human Rights Dialogue will be held on Monday, February 11 in Nay Pyi Daw.
  2. The dialogue will be led respectively by Mr. Jun Shinmi, Deputy Director-General of Foreign Policy Bureau, Ambassador in charge of UN affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and H.E. Mr. U Thant Kyaw, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
  3. At this dialogue, both countries are expected to discuss and exchange views on human rights situation in each country as well as cooperation in the field of human rights in the international arena.
