- The 2nd Japan-China-ROK Counter-Terrorism Consultations will be held in Sendai, Japan on July 18 and 19, 2012. At the same time, the 2nd Japan-China Counter-Terrorism Consultations and the 6th Japan-ROK Counter-Terrorism Consultations will be held.
- H.E. Mr. Tamotsu Shinotsuka, Ambassador in charge of International Cooperation for Countering Terrorism and International Organized Crime and Ambassador in charge of Cyber Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, H.E. Mr. Qiu Guohong, Director General of the Department of External Security Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and H.E. Mr. Song Bong-heon, Ambassador for International Security Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea will represent respective sides. Officials from counter-terrorism related ministries and agencies from three countries will attend the meetings.
- In these trilateral and bilateral consultations, Japan, China and ROK will share information regarding the international and regional terrorism situation, and also exchange views on matters of interest with regard to counter-terrorism and cooperation in the assistance of capacity building carried out by each country.
