Visit to Japan of H.E. Dato' Sri Anifah bin Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia

- From Tuesday, April 24, to Wednesday, April 25, H.E. Dato' Sri Anifah bin Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia, along with his wife and entourage, will pay a working visit to Japan upon invitation by the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
- A meeting between Minister for Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba and Minister Dato' Sri Anifah is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24. In addition, Minister Dato' Sri Anifah is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister Katsuya Okada and meet with the members of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) Japan-Malaysia Parliamentarian Friendship League.
- This year marks the 30th anniversary of the start of Malaysia's Look East Policy. It is expected that the visit to Japan by Minister Anifah will serve to further develop the relationship of friendly cooperation forged between Japan and Malaysia through the Look East Policy and close economic relations.
