  1. From Saturday, March 24 to Monday, March 26, the Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, will make a working visit to Japan. He will be accompanied by the Hon. Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation; the Hon. John Baird, Minister of Foreign Affairs; the Hon. Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board; and the Hon. Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway.

  2. On Sunday, March 25, Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a Summit Meeting with Prime Minister Harper.

  3. On the same day Mr. Koichiro Gemba, Minister for Foreign Affairs will hold a  Meeting with Minister Baird and Minister Fast.

  4. It is expected that the visit to Japan by Prime Minister Harper, Minister Baird and others will further deepen the friendly relationship between Japan and Canada.
