- From Saturday, March 10 to Thursday, March 15, H.E. Mr. Sukhbaatar Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia, and his wife, attended by their delegation, will pay an official working visit to Japan (the official visit starts on Sunday, March 11).
- During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Batbold is scheduled to have a meeting with Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda and to receive a courtesy call from Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba.
- As this year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Mongolia diplomatic relations, the visit to Japan by Prime Minister Batbold is expected to serve as an opportunity to further develop relations between Japan and Mongolia, which are seeking to build a Strategic Partnership.
