- His Excellency Lyonchhen Jigmi Y. Thinley, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, will visit Japan from Sunday, September 25 to Thursday, September 29.
- During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Thinley is scheduled to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda as well as attend the 24th World Congress of Architecture held in Tokyo.
- Prime Minister Thinley is also scheduled to visit Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture, including visits to areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and to an elementary school. Prime Minister Thinley will also hold a meeting with Mr. Yuhei Sato, Governor of Fukushima Prefecture.
