- Mr. Jeremy Browne, Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the U.K. will visit Japan from Saturday, July 9 to Tuesday, July 12.
- During his stay, Mr. Browne will make a courtesy call on Mr. Takeaki Matsumoto, Foreign Minister, and meet Mr. Yutaka Banno, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Japan, in which they will discuss Japan's post-earthquake reconstruction and regional issues. Mr. Browne will also go to Miyagi Prefecture and visit quake-affected areas as well as holding a meeting with Vice Governor of Miyagi Prefecture.
