Mr. Koro Bessho, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Iran from Friday, February 25 to Sunday, 27 to hold the Twenty first Japan-Iran Vice-Ministerial Regular Consultation with Dr.Mohammad Ali Fathollahi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian and Oceanic Affairs in Tehran on Saturday, February 26. Mr.Bessho will also meet with other Iranian government officials.
At the Consultation, various issues will be discussed including Japan-Iran bilateral relations, Iran’s nuclear issue, and regional and international affairs such as the situation in the Middle East.
