H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, President of the 66th session of the United Nations General Assembly, will visit Japan from November 12 to 16 (from Saturday to Wednesday) upon the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
During his stay in Japan, H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, President of the 66th General Assembly of the United Nations, is scheduled to hold meetings with various high level political figures including Mr. Koichiro Gemba, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and discuss a wide range of global issues including disaster prevention, sustainable development, regional issues and Security Council reform. H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser will visit Kansai region, where H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser will visit the “Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution”. H.E. Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Nasser will also attend a dialogue on Security Council reform in Tokyo.
We hope that this visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser will further strengthen the cooperative relationship between Japan and the United Nations.
