  1. Mr. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will attend the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting and the WTO Informal Ministerial Meeting hosted by Australia to be held in Paris on May 27 (Thu) and 28 (Fri).

  2. The OECD Ministerial Council Meeting, with the main theme of “From Recovery to Sustained Growth,” will feature discussions by member and non-member countries regarding future growth of the world economy, focused on topics including Fiscal Consolidation and sources of Growth (Green growth, Innovation, and Trade).

  3. At the WTO Informal Ministerial Meeting hosted by Australia, representatives from major WTO Members including developing countries will get together and discuss the current state of the Doha Round negotiations and how to move forward the ODA.
