The Public - Private Joint Study Tour for Promoting Trade and Investment to Africa

  1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will dispatch a public - private joint study tour for promoting trade and investment to Africa from January 24 to February 2, 2010, in Zambia and Mozambique. This tour will consist of 50 representatives from 15 Japanese enterprises as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and governmental agencies.

  2. The aim of this study tour is providing reference information to Japanese companies for discovering concrete projects that can benefit both the public and private sector. The participants will conduct site visits and participate in Business Seminars in the fields including mineral resources exploration, infrastructure, ICT, and rural development and agriculture.
