The APEC Japan 2010 Economic Leaders’ Meeting and Other Meetings

Japan will serve as chair of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in 2010, and will host various APEC meetings including the Economic Leaders’ Meeting.
Ms. Seiko Hashimoto, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, is currently attending, as a Representative of Japan, the Meeting of APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) being held in Singapore. On July 21, she presented the “APEC Japan 2010 Meeting Schedule” (separate attachment), which includes the locations and dates of these meetings.
The Economic Leaders’ Meeting will be held from November 13 (Sat) to November 14 (Sun), and the Ministerial Meeting from November 10 (Wed) to November 11 (Thu), both in Yokohama. The Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Trade will be held on June 5 (Sat) and June 6 (Sun) in Sapporo.
