The 1st Japan-Singapore Counter-Terrorism Dialogue

- The 1st Japan-Singapore Counter-Terrorism Dialogue will be held in the
Republic of Singapore on December 2 (Wed).
- Mr. Kiyoshi Araki, Ambassador in charge of International Counter-Terrorism
Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will represent the Japan side
while Mr. Peter Ho Hak Ean, Permanent Secretary, National Security and Intelligence
Coordination, Prime Minister’s Office will represent the Singapore side.
- At this dialogue, Japan and Singapore will exchange and share information
regarding the international and regional terrorism situation. Both sides
will explore the possibility of joint efforts between the two countries
for further international counter-terrorism cooperation.
- This Dialogue follows the discussion at the Japan-Singapore Vice-Ministerial Dialogue in August 2009.
