  1. Mr. Hitoshi Kimura, Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will attend the 47th OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) in Paris from June 4 (Wed) to 5 (Thu).
     
  2. At the OECD MCM, participants including non-OECD member states will discuss the current situation of the international economy including the surge in food prices, climate change, the review of current situation of the accession and enhanced engagement with selected non-OECD countries, multilateral trading system, SWFs (Sovereign Wealth Funds), and others.
