Visit to Japan of the Hon. Mr. Kevin Rudd, MP Prime Minister of Australia and Ms. Thérèse Rein

  1. The Hon. Mr. Kevin Rudd, MP, Prime Minister of Australia, and Ms. Rein will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from 8 to 12 June, 2008.
     
  2. During their stay in Japan, Prime Minister and Ms. Rein will be received in audience by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, Prime Minister of Japan will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Prime Minister and Ms. Rein, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Commonwealth of Australia.
