National Awareness Workshop on the Chemical Weapons Convention to be Held in Laos

1. A workshop to promote national implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), co-organized by Japan, Laos, the Republic of Korea, and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), will be held in Vientiane, Laos, on December 10(Wed) and December 11(Thu).
2. At the workshop, the first of its kind to be held in Laos, participants from Japan will introduce Japan’s experience and efforts in implementation of the CWC.
